Philately is one of the most fascinating and educative hobbies.  It encompasses what is commonly termed 'stamp collecting' and goes beyond it. A mere collection of stamps is like archeological finds without context. In the hands of an expert, every piece speaks about its origin, country, culture, and viewed in a chronological sequence, talks history.
